This precision barrel does NOT fit a GBBR Type 89 from Tokyo Marui, from at least my level of experience.
In the pictures below you can see the difference.
- The GOLD barrel is the FACTORY TYPE 89 inner barrel.
- The BLACK barrel is the MODIFY TECH precision barrel.
As you can see, the shape and the groves are in different places on the barrels, and do not fit into the original hop-up unit of the Type 89. Unless you had machinery to cut the barrel, or perhaps an instruction on how to put it on correctly, this barrel DOES NOT WORK for a TM Type 89 GBBR user of average skill.
