Well made, very heavy, all steel, quality part. Fits mp5 clones. The latch mechanism is as close to HK as ive seen. The stock is stiff to open and close, but i will lube it and it will break in

You don't need to worry about this product being flimsy. It's rock solid. No amount of manhandling has produced any wobble, whatsoever.

Although the product looked like a good material made with a metal housing and aluminum collapsing/sliding arms, it is beyond tight to where you will have to punch the collapsible stock in a handful of times to collapse the butt stock into its shortest position. Also it's so tight that the black coating starts to scratch off/gouge off. The product looks good but the function could be much better and smoother.

I purchased this retractable buttstock after I spoke with a friend who had purchased one several months back. He had heard I purchased an airsoft model of an MP5 pistol. He told me how his stock was more 'solid' than the buttstock that came on his real, HK MP5, which was flimsy. He purchased his buttstock for his airsoft MP5 and was very happy with it's construction and durability. He also told me to get 'one of these' because of it's toughness. So, I ordedered one and he is 100% correct. It's tough as nails. I love mine!
